The Johnson County Fair was first held in 1887 and focused on individual and group project displays. In the summer of 2004, the Johnson County Agriculture Association added a new 9000 sq. ft. building to the Johnson County Fairgrounds. The fairgrounds now consists of 10+ buildings available for rental May through October.
